Background
Excel Dryer is a family-run business that produces the XLERATOR hand dryer, the only hand dryer that is “Made in the USA” Certified and offers a 95% cost savings over paper towels.
Challenge
The hand dryer market is competitive, with many organizations working hard to increase rankings around a set of highly coveted keywords. (Go ahead and type “hand dryer” into Google). In addition to ongoing blogging and article production, Excel Dryer was looking for other unique ways to generate high organic traffic levels to their website.
Our Work
Google’s knowledge graph plays a vital role in organic search. Knowing there are many questions surrounding hand dryers and hand hygiene, we produced a 1,750 word, information-rich FAQ page equipped with rich snippets. These snippets, injected into the website’s code, helped tell Google the type of information that could be found on the page.
Results
In the year and a half period since the page was published, it has driven more than 2,100 total sessions, 70% of which were from Google organic search. As part of a more extensive SEO and content strategy with page optimization, linking, article writing, and other rich snippets, organic search now drives more than 45,000 visitors to the site each year.
